The Shift

Have you ever found yourself doing something you thought was your “calling,” only to discover that it was a phase?

Maybe the influence of family, friends, and well-meaning acquaintances helped shape what you thought was your life’s purpose, only to discover that you were living out expectations of others rather than fulfilling your own desires.

Helping my fifteen-year-old daughter overcome brain cancer and the ravages of toxic oncology treatment was one of the great privileges of my life.

My decades-long love of, and experience with holistic wellness made the task easier.

Discovering integrative strategies that could support my daughter’s body, mind, and spirit, despite such a harrowing diagnosis and equally harrowing treatment, helped ease the helplessness and hopelessness so common with a life-threatening cancer diagnosis.

My purpose during my daughter’s cancer crisis was crystal clear.

And now that she’s a vibrantly healthy 28-year-old, I’ve recently accepted that I no longer feel compelled to live my life as a “cancer coach.”

In all honesty, my true desire is to help my clients discover ways to avoid disease in the first place; not only cancer, but all maladies that are attributed to lifestyle habits.

Helping my clients uncover and reverse the habits that may no longer be serving their health—habits no one has ever told them could actually be harming them, is truly where my passion lies. What a rush it is to support others as they make permanent, sustainable changes that can help them create wellness!

Especially dear to me as I see 60 peeping over the horizon, is helping women over 40 create lives of resilience and vitality.

My focus may no longer be specifically on cancer, but sharing holistic wellness is still what ignites me.

I invite you to join me on this new path. I can promise it will be a joyful, illuminating ride!

Wishing you well, Susan
